Writing Music for The Wishing Hour with Singer-Songwriter Lisa Bastoni: (Kickstart Lisa's next album here!)

Magic happened the night Lisa Bastoni shared her story and her music with us at The Albion Cultural Exchange on Friday, April 21, 2017! Accompanied by the guitar passed down to her from her grandmother, Lisa talked about what inspires her songs and some of the sweet details that mingle together to yield her soul-inspiring sound. She shared a few songs with us, introduced us to a few books that have guided her path along the way and was surprised to discover she had really hit a chord with some of the young girls in attendance.

Lisa is so very talented and we were so grateful to have her stop by The Albion Cultural Exchange and share her gifts with us all. If you would like to learn more about her music and her upcoming shows visit: www.lisabastoni.com. Enjoy the photos from the event!

Writing Seriously From Scratch with Chef Joe Gatto:

It was a great night at Write After Dinner: Writing Seriously From Scratch with Chef Joe Gatto held on Friday, October 21, 2016 at The Albion Cultural Exchange!

It was a fun community event thanks to Chef Joe Gatto and the Albion Cultural Exchange. We raised money and collected lots of food for the Wakefield Interfaith Food Pantry. Thank you to Chef Joe Gatto for showing us how to make fresh mozzarella that was so delicious with the roasted peppers and for sharing so much of his expertise with us all.

Cooking from scratch doesn't seem so scary now. Here are some photos from the evening:

Joe’s cookbook, Seriously From Scratch, was available for purchase as well as signing and personalizing. You can find Seriously From Scratch at your local Barnes & Noble. For more information contact Colleen Getty: colleen@theroomtowrite.com,
